Lane Sander, MA, MDiv, LMHCDIRECTOR AND LEAD COUNSELOR
Lane is the director and founder of Renovate Counseling Services (founded in 2016) and is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana. He completed his graduate training through Grace College and Theological Seminary and holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Lane has multiple years of experience working with clients in a variety of settings ranging from private practice to college counseling centers.
Lane approaches therapy from a person-centered lens and firmly believes that a strong emphasis on the therapist-client relationship is the start of the process towards healing and wholeness. He also incorporates Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into his approach to counseling as well. Lane enjoys being able to walk with his clients on their journey towards achieving their goals related to their mental health and overall wellbeing. |
Bonnie Spallinger, MA, LMHCSHELBYVILLE OFFICE SITE SUPERVISOR
Bonnie Spallinger is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana. She completed her graduate program from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2015. Bonnie has served with a community health provider for four and a half years and has experience working with families, women, men, adolescents, and children. Her expertise is working with adolescents and emerging adults struggling with trauma, decision making, life issues, and behavioral issues. She enjoys assisting parents in finding helpful methods to parent their children. Bonnie has experience in community health, college counseling centers, hospitals, and church settings.
Bonnie approaches therapy using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) as the main methods to help produce positive outcomes. In the past, Bonnie has been an elementary and middle school teacher, has lived and worked at an international boarding school and co-parenting high school girls, served as a Resident Director at a small Christian college and has served as the Assistant Program Director at a Christian Camp for children between the ages of 7-18. Bonnie can assist individuals and families with depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, parenting issues, ADHD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, grief, substance use, and adjustment disorders. Bonnie strives to work with families and individuals in a collaborative way so they can achieve their goals. |

Tracy Carlstrom, LMHCALICENSED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR ASSOCIATE
Tracy resonates and empathizes with imperfection, uncertainties, and brokenness. Hope from her personal healing compelled her to walk alongside others through their obstacles and difficulties. Her journey led to a career transition from nursing to counseling through Concordia University Irvine with the Townsend Institute and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Indiana. Her experience in nursing adds physical, biological, and neurological intricacies for a holistic health perspective.
Tracy has served in community mental health, the Boys and Girls Club, daycares, hospitals, and church settings. While continuing to pursue her Registered Play Therapy certification, she loves working with young ones in their language of play. For adults, Tracy holds a client-centered focus while attending to attachment theory, boundaries, integration of the good amidst the hard/complex, and nourishing relational connections for the client’s desired growth steps. She incorporates faith, if desired, as her heart is full of tenderness and grace for every journey. |
Olivia Piersall, MSW, LCSW, OSW-CLICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Olivia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. She earned her Bachelor’s of Social Work from Anderson University in 2019, and earned her Master’s of Social Work from Indiana University in 2020. Olivia has multiple years of experience working in both hospital and school settings.
Olivia strives to build a genuine, supportive relationship with each client she meets. She believes the therapeutic alliance is essential for healing and growth, and she strives to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. Olivia’s approach is rooted in empowerment, helping you uncover your strengths and allowing you to express your authentic self without fear. |

Gabbi SmithINTERN
Gabbi has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University East in 2020 and will be graduating from Huntington University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in the Summer of 2025. Gabbi enjoys working with children, teens and their families in areas such as trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and negative self esteem. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.
When not counseling, Gabbi enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter going camping and taking trips to the beach. Gabbi loves to play and coach tennis. She has two dogs: a beagle lab and a miniature dachshund. Gabbi loves spending time with her family and friends going on adventures big or small! |
