Lane Sander, MA, MDiv, LMHC
DIRECTOR AND LEAD COUNSELOR
Lane is the director and founder of Renovate Counseling Services (founded in 2016) and is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana. He completed his graduate training through Grace College and Theological Seminary and holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Lane has multiple years of experience working with clients in a variety of settings ranging from private practice to college counseling centers.
Lane approaches therapy from a person-centered lens and firmly believes that a strong emphasis on the therapist-client relationship is the start of the process towards healing and wholeness. He also incorporates Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into his approach to counseling as well. Lane enjoys being able to walk with his clients on their journey towards achieving their goals related to their mental health and overall wellbeing.
Tim Gilleand, MA, LMHC
HUNTINGTON OFFICE SITE SUPERVISOR & CLINICAL COORDINATOR
Tim Gilleand is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Indiana. He completed his graduate program from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2014. Tim sees clients in the Huntington office, serves as the clinical coordinator there, and overseas the day-to-day operations of the Huntington location.
Tim has experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of mental health needs including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, and more. He also enjoys marital and premarital couples counseling and is an EMDR trained therapist. Tim has been involved in various ministry positions for over 20 years, and is comfortable addressing spiritual concerns. He brings a passion for forgiveness therapy and confidence building to empower our clients for future success.

Janna Imes, MA, LMHCA

Janna graduated from Columbia International University (SC) with her bachelor of science in Psychology and Healthcare Administration and received her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2022 from Indiana Wesleyan University. Janna is licensed in the state of Indiana as a Mental Health Counselor Associate.
Janna has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Her counseling has been in a variety of settings including community based clinics, universities, and home-based therapeutic services. Janna provides therapy from a variety of treatment modalities, always collaborating with the client to find what best suits the individual and their needs. Janna’s clients describe her as compassionate and patient while building a strong therapeutic relationship founded in trust. Janna is the kind of therapist that will walk alongside you in your journey to health and healing.
Sarah Ruble, MA, LMHCA

Sarah is a master’s level therapist who holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and she graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College and Theological Seminary. She has experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults relating to anxiety, depression, suicide, trauma, self-harm, adjustment, anger, emotion regulation, and behavior management both within the community and school settings.
Sarah uses a therapeutic approach that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), incorporating play therapy techniques when appropriate and using a person-centered approach to build a strong therapeutic relationship from the very first session. Sarah strives to come alongside individuals in their journey and to establish a collaborative therapy process that utilizes and builds upon the strengths of each individual. She considers it a privilege to be a part of a person’s journey and to help bring about the desired change in one’s life.

Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Consultant – Level II in the state of Indiana. Michelle completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Indiana State University and her Master of Social Work at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2018.
Prior to joining Renovate Counseling, Michelle has worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults. She has worked in community mental health, home-based case management, and medical settings. Michelle utilizes different treatment modalities that include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Education, and Client-Centered approaches.

Brittany Renkenberger, MS, LSW

Brittany lives in Huntington with her husband and their four children. Brittany graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and from the University of Alabama with a Master’s in Social Work. She is also a Licensed Social Worker in Indiana and Alabama.
During her career, Brittany has served clients through her roles in child welfare, outpatient and residential recovery programs, medical settings, and crisis housing services. She has extensive training and experience counseling persons with Substance Use Disorder, women and families in crisis, and incorporating trauma-informed care into her practice. Brittany utilizes different treatment modalities that include: cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, client-centered approaches, psychoeducation, and faith integration.
Danielle Zackey, MS
Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Purdue Fort Wayne and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New England College. Danielle is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Indiana.
Danielle has had experience working with addictions at a non-profit transitional home for women. She has experience working with youth and adolescents through ministries and volunteer work. Danielle likes to incorporate Strength-Based, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered in her approach to therapy. She believes that collaboration and the therapeutic relationship help her clients identify goals and potential solutions related to their mental health and well-being.
Taylor Fulk, Ba
Taylor holds a Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University in Human Services. She will be graduating in the summer of 2024 from Huntington University with a Master's degree in Licensed Mental Health Counseling. Taylor lives with her husband Ben and daughter Addison. They have 3 special needs cats and a dog. Taylor finds pride in working alongside individuals who struggle with anxiety and negative self-esteem. She enjoys being able to watch their confidence grow and become the best version of themselves. Additionally, she has a passion for those that have suffered trauma, domestic violence, and substance use disorder. She uses a person-centered perspective, motivational interviewing, and CBT. She focuses on a whole mind/body experience and loves the ability to integrate client's spirituality into their healing journeys. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing in the pool, being with family, and taking trips to Lake Erie to enjoy her sailboat. One of her favorite quotes is "In life we can't always predict the storms, but we can always adjust our sails."
Christina Piercy, BA
Christina is a Huntington Graduate Student in the Mental Health Counseling Program committed to helping her clients live healthier, purpose-filled lives. She was influenced by her own experiences in therapy to begin her journey as a counselor. She understands what it is like to be the client and desires to create a warm, inviting environment for her clients to come as they are. Christina enjoys working with couples, mothers, or moms-to-be, as well as individuals working through acceptance, awareness, anxiety, and depression.
Being a mother and wife herself, Christina understands both the rewards and challenges. She strives to help individuals thrive in their daily lives by finding purpose in who they are and what they are doing. She incorporates an integrative approach to counseling by using a combination of systemic, psychodynamic, and humanistic approaches along with mindfulness and somatic therapy. She is excited to receive certifications in perinatal and trauma-informed therapies to better serve her clients. A favorite life quote of hers is, “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become,” by Carl Jung.
Kim, a lifelong native of Bluffton, completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education/Office Administration from Ball State University.
She has had a myriad of opportunities to serve in various educational and business settings, including teaching accounting and business law at Blackford High School, working as a teacher’s aide at Bluffton Middle School, and volunteering at A Friend’s House Ministries and Christian Care Retirement Community.
Kim and her husband have 8 children. Besides spending time with family and friends, she enjoys working outdoors, hiking, and sports.
Abby is originally from Roanoke, IN and moved to the Bluffton area in 2012. Abby graduated from Homestead high school in 2003 and has an AAS in physical therapy assisting. Abby previously worked in long term care with geriatric population doing direct patient care and some administrative duties. She loves hearing life stories from people who have lived and experienced a lot more of life than she has.
Abby and her husband have been married for 10 years and have 4 daughters. Their family is active in volunteering at their church.In her free time, Abby enjoys crafting with her girls, walking/biking/running, reading, and just spending time with friends and family.

Abby is originally from Warsaw, and growing up she lived in Winona Lake, Columbia City, and Huntington. From a young age she had it on her heart to contribute to the lives of others and to advocate for the marginalized. Abby has intensive experience working with children and teaching students with disabilities. She has a passion for animals, music & dance.
In her free time Abby enjoys writing, reading, and a gratitude yoga practice. Abby lives in Huntington with her husband and their three children. As a family they enjoy playing with their guinea pig babies and actively serving their church.
CARE COORDINATOR - BLUFFTON & HUNTINGTON OFFICE
Kaitlyn grew up in Wells County and graduated from Norwell High School. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from IUPUI. She has a lot of experience working with the elderly, those of all ages with disabilities, and with mental health. It has always been in her heart to love and help others. She truly enjoys making people feel special and celebrated. Kaitlyn believes that music and laughter is good for the soul and that grace and kindness will always go a long way.
Kaitlyn and her husband have two kids and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She loves crafts, movies, music, a good bonfire, and being at the ocean.
Sydni lives in Ossian, IN with her husband Mitchell and dog named Boris. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology in 2018 from Grace College and Seminary. She met her husband, Mitchell, while in college and they got married in 2018 as well.
Before coming to Renovate, she worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician doing therapy with kids with Autism. She enjoys making handmade jewelry, staying active, and spending time with her niece.
